When it all started

We have come a long way. We first started in 1995, as a division under the Kaybee umbrella handling OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) food businesses. Kaybee Group is a multi-national company operating in more than 25 locations worldwide, with a group turnover in excess of US$400 million.

As a division within the Kaybee group, we built extensive contacts and accumulated valuable working experience in the food & beverage business. As the division matured, we became increasingly aware of the potential in the African food & beverage market.

            

As our needs noticeably diverted from those of the Kaybee Group, Vega Foods was born, or re-born as a separate venture in early 2005. Since then, we have fully embraced our new role as a pan-African food and beverage company.
