7th November 2008. Kaybee Family and honourable guests from all over the world, gathered in Singapore, on the beautiful island of Sentosa, to celebrate the company's 50th Golden Jubilee. It was an entertaining night of music,magic, culture and fashion that opened with the traditional Kagamiwari Ceremony or the ritual of breaking open the sake barrel. This was followed by a commemorative video showcasing Kaybee's history, its present values and future aspirations. Internationally acclaimed Russian duo Sergey and Oksana, then wowed everyone with their unique brand of quick change magic. Thereafter, a "Through the Decades" fashion show put up by the Young Designer's Society of Singapore took audiences on a delightful fashion tour of trends from the 50s, to the present and into the future.The evening culmulated with a enthralling performance by the sensational band Indian Ocean that kept everyone on their feet for the rest of the evening.
