Our Subsidiary

Given Africa's vast expanse, we have divided our African operations into nine blocks based on strategic reasons such as geographical proximity and similarities in consumer behaviour. This has resulted in ten "Unique Stars" under the  'Vega galaxy'. Our subsidiaries 'Unique Star Foods" cater to each block. Of these, two follow the 'Primary Structure' while the others follow the 'Secondary Structure'.   

Unique Star Food, Ghana – This is our first primary operation. It caters to the GHAT Block which includes Ghana and Togo. Incorporated in 2005, it has grown at more than 100%.

STE Unique Star Food Benin – Started in 2007, this is our second primary operation in Africa. It caters to the BOC Block which includes Benin and Niger.

USF Nigeria Ltd. – Started in 2007, it caters to Nigeria, Africa's second largest economy.

USF SARL Senegal – Started in 2006, it caters to the West Block consisting of Guinea Bissao, Mauritania, Senegal, Guineaand Sierra Leone.

Ets Unique Star, Cameroon – Started in 2007, it caters to the Central Block consisting of Cameroon and Gabon.

USF (Ghana) Ltd – Started in 2007, it is our manufacturing venture and pilot project in food processing.

Vega Foods is in an expansion mode and is therefore continuously striving to reach more customers by opening new branches and offices across the continent. We will keep you updated on further developments.
